No. Sightline works great for individuals tracking personal projects, household budgets, or freelance work. Teams just unlock shared visibility and role-based controls.
No. Only Owners and Admins can create projects and set budgets. Members can add expenses, but cannot modify budget amounts or category allocations.
Yes. Every expense requires a receipt — either uploaded from your gallery or captured with your camera. No receipt, no submit. This ensures accountability.
Receipts are automatically emailed to a destination email you choose (like your finance team or accountant). You can also download all receipts for a project as a zip file.
Yes. Archived projects are included in analytics totals for historical accuracy, but they don't appear in the project picker when adding new expenses.
Deleted projects are excluded from all totals immediately and moved to Trash. They remain in Trash for 30 days before permanent deletion, giving you a chance to restore if needed.
